What we collect
- Email addresses you submit through our forms (resource downloads, workshop registration, contact requests).
- Anonymous usage data via a privacy-respecting analytics tool (Plausible / Fathom — no cookies, no personal data).
- Standard server logs (IP, user agent, requested URL) retained briefly for security and abuse prevention.
How we use it
- To deliver the resources or services you request.
- To send you the weekly Jay Note only if you opt in. You can unsubscribe anytime.
- To reply to inquiries from the booking form.
- To understand aggregate site usage and improve content.
What we don't do
- We never sell or rent your information to third parties.
- We never share your email with anyone outside our service providers.
- We don't run ad-tech tracking pixels or third-party cookies.
Service providers
Forms are processed by HubSpot. Email may be sent through HubSpot or similar transactional providers. Analytics may be Plausible, Fathom, or Google Analytics 4 — see our analytics provider's own privacy policy for their practices.
Your rights
You can request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information by emailing jay@businessbldrs.com. We honor requests within 30 days.
Children
This site isn't directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we update this policy, the "last updated" date above changes. Material changes will be communicated via the next Jay Note.
